In honor of National Volunteer Month, we are excited to launch our new “Volunteer of the Month” program! If you have enjoyed a ride, a club weekend, an event or made new friends, fantastic volunteers made it happen, often in the background. We want to highlight your contributions.

Each Volunteer of the Month will win exclusive club merch (and of course, bragging rights)! Whether someone came to your rescue to fix a stubborn flat tire, or went above and beyond planning a special ride, no effort is too big or too small. Nominations are open on a rolling basis and winners will be announced in each monthly newsletter.

Ways to Volunteer

This club is all-volunteer, and it doesn't happen without people who benefit from the club giving back in some way.

Volunteer as much or little as you want. Here is a list of ways to get involved:

• Club Events (Newcomers ride, All Class ride, Ice cream social, Holiday party

• Tabling at cycling events to educate fellow cyclists about NYCC
• Graphic design - providing great images for our website and social media.
